What do Trustees do?
As Trustees at Cornelius Vermuyden School, we provide strategic oversight and work closely with school leaders to support the long-term direction of the school. This includes contributing to strategic planning, shaping and reviewing key policies, and holding leaders to account so that every pupil is supported to achieve their full potential.
Trustees monitor and evaluate progress against the school’s priorities, using evidence to ask thoughtful and constructive questions. We work in partnership with the Headteacher, Deputy Headteachers and staff, offering both support and challenge to help the school continue to improve.
