Last week for World Book Day some of our year 7 students took part in the 'Great Footy & Booky Quiz 2023' with authors Alex Bellos & Ben Lyttleton. Our pupils enjoyed putting their football and literacy knowledge to the test & they did a fantastic job working in teams to answer the questions!

READ MOREOn Thursday 26th January, The Yellow Door visited The Cornelius Vermuyden School, for a Carousel Day and met with students from Years 7-11. This was a great opportunity for our students to find out more about what they do and how they can potentially support in the coming years. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all parents and carers who also attended the session for them after school where they spoke to the Yellow Door workers and had the opportunity to ask questions and become more aware of the services. Your support is much appreciated.

On Thursday 19th January, students in years 7, 8, 9 and 10 attended an assembly delivered by the Essex Police service on ‘Cyber Safety’.

READ MOREFriday 16th December saw the school host its Xmas dinner. Pupils were able to purchase Xmas dinner and got to enjoy a fantastic roast dinner and Xmas dessert.
