Last Wednesday Year 5 pupils from across Canvey Island were presented with a History Mystery. A suitcase had been found. Where had the suitcase come from? What was inside the suitcase? Who owned the suitcase?
Through the medium of historical investigation and interrogation the pupils compiled a range of reports and creative narratives that demonstrated an in-depth analysis of the suitcases’ contents. They approached the whole learning episode with enthusiasm and high levels of intellect and were a credit to their respective schools.
